The Emergency Vehicle Operation Center and Tactics/Firearms Facility was designed as a prototype for future facilities of its kind. This facility houses the first tactical and firearms educational facilities with shared administration. It also incorporates three indoor-outdoor shooting ranges with state-of-the-art equipment.
This project, which started with extensive programming and site selection, combines activities previously conducted at several locations into a modern 44-acre facility with approximately 150,000 sf of building area including classrooms, shooting ranges, simulation rooms and armory. The main building overlooks the vehicle instructional course and an educational situation simulation village.
